    Hi there,

I have the NewsPro theme. I was told that before I could update to WP 4.6, I had to update to Genesis 2.3..1 or I would get a Fatal error. So, I checked my site and I had the Genesis Framework 2.2.5 installed and it was set to auto update but had not. So, i came and grabbed the 2.3.1 download and I put it on my site. My site crashed. Long story story, after working all afternoon -I have determined I need to put 2.2.5 back there w/ the NewPro theme b/c the two don't seem to want to talk nice to each other. Is there a way I can get that zip file somehow? Thanks! Any other thoughts? I guess I just need to wait on doing the wordpress 4.6 install ..for a while?

    Hi,

please open a ticket with the official Studiopress support at my.studiopress.com/help so they can keep track of hosts that block the update notification.

I'm not sure what you are asking. You downloaded the 2.3.1 .zip from your downloads area.
You can either upload it to through cPanel and unpack it into the wp-content/themes/genesis folder or you can unpack it on your computer and upload the files through FTP into wp-content/themes/genesis.

Or you can follow Lauren's advice here: http://restored316designs.com/blog/2015/08/12/important-info-on-genesis-update/#comment-285831
