    Hi,
I'm using the Genesis Featured Widget Amplified plugin. I've added the code snippets to functions.php that customize my excerpt length and change the default read more link to "read more . . ." This is working fine in most cases.

If you look on this page, the middle post/item in the last row uses the Genesis Featured Widget Amplified plugin, where everything else on the page uses the Genesis Featured Page plugin. I've set it to include an excerpt, limited the number of words, and added "read more . . ." in the "More text (if applicable" field. But still I only see "[...]" at the end of the excerpt, and it doesn't link to the post.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    thanks,
    Lisa

    Hi Lisa,

it looks like you solved your problem.
(The /stagingwp/ url does not exist anymore and the home page shows read more links.)

If that´s the case, could you please mark this topic as resolved so it can be closed?
