Hi all. I am using the 'news pro' theme. The featured tabs (genesis tabs) were working fine up until today. Now only the tabs load, but no pictures. No changes have been done on the site, so I am rather baffled as to why it would stop working. I have tried deactivating, re-installing, setting a new widget up ... nothing has made any difference. I have also tried deactivating other plugins to see if it was a plugin issue, even though no changes had been made. Still nothing.
I am hoping that you can help me, otherwise I will have to look for alternatives, which I do not want to do at this point.
You can find the website at http://www.uktransactionalanalysis.co.uk
Thank you in advance.

Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) http://www.uktransactionalanalysis.co.uk/wp-content/themes/news-pro/js/drop-down-nav.js?ver=0.5
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) http://www.uktransactionalanalysis.co.uk/wp-content/themes/news-pro/js/sticky-nav.js?ver=3.9.1
Uncaught TypeError: undefined is not a function custom-scripts.js?ver=1.3.1:4
I don't know why those Javascript files are not found. Did someone do a restore from a bad backup? Maybe a permissions issue? I'd check permissions.
I don't know much about the News-pro theme. Maybe you should re-install it? If not, at least find those files and install them in theme directory. (I'm kind of surprised they are not in the tabs plugin directory but maybe the theme comes bundled with the plugin and StudioPress decided to put all the Javascript files in with the theme.)
Let us know what you find.
July 6, 2014 at 6:19 am #113120pigtiggMemberHi Dev.
Thank you for taking the time to do that. The files that are missing are due to a leftover .php script that I had not got around to sorting yet. It does not have anything to do with the genesis featured tabs. I have removed the reference to the files now.
I unfortunately still have the same problem. The plugin is genesis tabs, which is part of the news-pro page setup. Any ideas anybody?
July 6, 2014 at 1:53 pm #113145devParticipantI don't know what this plugin is supposed to do but the tabs are set to (left to right):
http://www.uktransactionalanalysis.co.uk/#cat-51
http://www.uktransactionalanalysis.co.uk/#cat-3
http://www.uktransactionalanalysis.co.uk/#cat-35
http://www.uktransactionalanalysis.co.uk/#cat-83and all of these resolve to your homepage.
So it seems to me that your internal settings are wrong? Shouldn't these URLS be pages or posts?
July 6, 2014 at 3:44 pm #113155pigtiggMemberHi Dev. Thanks again.
If you go to the news-pro demo - you will see what it is supposed to do. http://my.studiopress.com/themes/news/#demo-full. They are supposed to be the latest posts from categories (which are the tabs) - the links usually work by clicking on the picture (which of course is not showing on my website).
Basically the plugin is not working for some reason.

July 6, 2014 at 5:16 pm #113159devParticipantWell then tell me how you put in the URLs that the tabs are pointing to? What does "/#cat-83" refer to? Looks like an HTML href 'target' or "jump to" point to me.
Have you tried re-installing the plugin?

January 28, 2015 at 4:13 pm #138884tholleyMemberHi,
I, too, installed the Genesis featured tab plugin on the Pro News Theme. It was working up until today. I have cloned the site and it continues to work on the cloned site. On the production site, I have un-installed and reinstalled the plugin and have tried a few other things.
You will see it working here:

And not working here:

Holley CreativeJanuary 28, 2015 at 4:15 pm #138885tholleyMemberI, too, cannot get the Genesis Featured Tab plugin to work. I installed it about a week ago and it stopped working today. Interestingly, it continues to work on my staging site.
Here is the staging site:

Here is the live site:

I have tried installing, reinstalling, etc.
Thanks!
