I noticed that in the Genesis Featured Posts widget, when I have a sticky post, it floats the sticky post to the top of the listed posts when I choose to show all categories. However, when I choose to show only one category, which is the category where I have my sticky post, the sticky post does not float to the top any longer. Is this a bug or am I misunderstanding why the sticky post would not always float to the top? Why would this only work with all categories and not for a single category?

    Thanks,

    Stefanie

    Michael,

I'm using the Genesis Featured Posts widget that comes with Genesis, not a plugin.

ah ok. that's odd. there could be a conflict with another plugin or it might be a bug.

did you submit this via the studiopress contact form as well? if you're logged in, you can go here: http://my.studiopress.com/help/

it'd be great to see the results here when you find a solution. will check otherwise on a dev site.
