I have a problem with an instance of this widget and had it before.

On the homepage I have multiple instances of this widget, but only the first one behaves weird.

Original language is english. Underneath the featured image there is the date so it should only read something like April 2th 2020, but on the Dutch page it says:
WPML NL april 2, 2020 By Lesley Moffat

and I can't change this except by deactivating the whole Post info option.
I have had contact with WPML but they say it has something to do with the widget.

Open the widget. What does the shortcode say in the post info? Can you give a screenshot of that widget?

    This is that first widget:

This is the one beneath that, on the left. Exactly the same, but with no error:

You are using Genesis Extender which I believe is causing that. Reach out to the plugin developer about that. It's not a product of StudioPress.

Thanks Anita, I will contact Eric from Cobalt Apps about this and report back here if indeed that plugin is causing this.

Hi Anita, Eric from Cobalt Apps replied about his Extender plugin:

Did the moderator mention why she thought the problem was caused by Genesis Extender? I don't see anything in your explanation that would implicate Extender, unless you've added some custom code through Extender that's affecting these Widget Areas.

I checked, but I do not have such a custom code that could affect this widget.

I see Extender in the CSS on that field. Deactivate Extender to see if you still have the problem.

No change after deactivating. Just that the styling changes.

I just deactivated all plugins (including extender) except WPML, and the problem still exists.

Try removing that one widget. How does the next widget perform?

That was a good move :). When I do that, the problem still remains, but only in that widget. I did not remove it, but moved it to another location, underneath the other 3 featured post widgets. So perhaps I van start with recreating the widget.

That worked Anita! Thanks for that suggestion :).
I just had to translate some strings again.
