Tagged: background color, menu tab, text widget
I am relatively new to modifying a Genesis theme. I am using the Executive Pro theme and need to add a couple of updates to the content of the site. They are important so I want to make them stand out by changing the background.
I reviewed the forum and found references to the use of Inspector to modify CSS. I tried this and it works but it seems to change the background in all Text Widgets to the same color.
How can you change a background in a single text widget? Perhaps, one should go deeper into css and start to properly label sections and use properly generated names?
I also have the same question in relation to tab menus. How one can change background color in a specific menu tab, but perhaps the answer to my previous question could help me to understand the process.
Thanks for any help in this matter. kecaj
