I was reviewing this document. It is a genesis for beginners document. Labeled as version 3. In there it talks about the genesis settings page and the SEO settings page being pages and in the customizer. When I click in the WordPress dashboard I only get access to the customizer.
Is this "living document" just behind? ...or am I missing something?

I don't think the document has been updated yet. So if you go to Genesis > Theme Settings you should see the SEO Settings. The only time you shouldn't see it is if you have Yoast or another SEO plugin installed.

The individual Genesis SEO Meta boxes should also be displaying on your pages, posts, etc.

Thanks, Anita. I am mostly interested if all settings have moved to the customizer instead of settings panels. Which would tell definitely that the beginner doc is dated.

Global Genesis Settings have moved to the customizer. You'll still have access on a per page/per post basis to the non-global settings.
