Hello Genesis folks,
I recently released some new Genesis stuff. The first is a new Sample-based child theme called Customizer. I really like the Sample theme and it's what I often prefer to build on. However, there were some things missing in my opinion. Therefore, I built some features into it (i.e. mobile navigation) and released it with a new plugin I've named EngageWP Genesis Customizer. I began developing this plugin as a tool that would allow me to customize the "Customizer" child theme (plus others) without having to dig through code for every little thing. I wanted a way to save time on client work by quickly running through normal CSS edits and integrating commonly-used Genesis snippets. Over the last few weeks, I've been spending countless of hours developing and updating these tools to make them useful for many Genesis users.
Here's a link if you're interested in reading more about the EngageWP Genesis Customizer plugin and child themes. I will continue to improve the Customizer plugin and I welcome all input from the Genesis community.
Finally, I'd like to offer all StudioPress Forum users a 20% discount for any purchase on EngageWP. Just use the code SPFORUM20 at checkout.
Cheers,
Ren
