    Hello All!

I'm rather new to Genesis but I'm loving it so far. I actually just picked up a client that is looking to start an online store so I instantly thought Woocommerce. Ideally, I'd like to just stick with Genesis framework from now on to become well versed in it, but does it play well with Woocommerce?

I tried looking up some theme made for Genesis/Woocommerce and I didn't notice any by Studio Press. Also, I noticed that StudiPress doesn't support the Woocommerce plugin - is that a sign I should stay away from this project with Genesis?

I'd love to hear some feedback from people that have taken on similar projects. One of the harder parts of this project is going to be the front page... Basically when you loadup the front page it will have two options taking you to a therapist section - this would have a blog/forum side, and then the other side is a patient side - this would contain the shopping area.

Does this sound feasible? Thanks so much for your input!

Genesis is supporting the wooCommerce plugin. but you need to install the Genesis Connect WooCommerce plugin. I created a PRO Child theme. You can see the demo here. It is working with WooCommerce perfectly.

That's awesome! Thanks genwrock. Would be able to support the frontpage idea I have? Basically I'm thinking like some kind of picture of a doctor and patient and on the side of the photo with the doctor having a button to click in to go to that part of the site and then the same thing for the patient side as well. I'd imagine I'd have to customize it a bit huh? 🙂
