    Hello,

First of all I would like to mention that I am not a coder/webdeveloper. I have no knowledge of PHP, HTML. All I know is very little CSS. I am very eager in learning webdevelopment tho. I want to become a designer/developer by doing and learning online.

I have purchased all studiopress child themes already.

I have worked with visual composer (VC) before and I found it very easy creating pages with that. So I was wondering if it's possible to use visual composer with Genesis and the genesis childthemes.

Can anyone tell me if they have used it together and how they used it? Like what did you use Genesis/the childtheme for and what did you use VC for when creating that website?

I am looking forward to your replies, thanks in advance.

    Kind regards,

    Walter

Yes, I have used it and you can probably use it with all the Genesis child themes. I installed it for a client, to make updating an accordion easy for him. He didn't like it at all, neither did I.

If you want to learn, install a web inspector on your browser of choice, then you can highlight elements on a page and see the css controlling it. You can modify the css in the browser window to preview what your changes will look like before adding them to the style sheet.

If you are a visual learner I would also suggest signing up for lynda.com and taking HTML and PHP courses. Carrie Dils also has a course about Genesis there, but it might be a little above your level at this stage.
