This value are normal? I seem too high....
November 18, 2012 at 9:00 am #535pizzicoParticipantI forgot to specify that I use sleek child theme...
November 18, 2012 at 9:28 am #541Jon WeissMemberI've never personally run into an issue of consuming too much while running Genesis. There may be other variables spiking your ram usage. Have you spoken with your hosting company?
November 18, 2012 at 9:34 am #544pizzicoParticipantYes... my hosting use cloud linux vps.
First, I would like to know if the consumption without Genesis an without plugins is normal when i publish articles... (100-130 consumption ram memory).
November 18, 2012 at 9:37 am #547Jon WeissMemberI don't know what "normal" consumption is, honestly. I'm pretty sure there are many things that effect that - more so than just the theme / plugins (although I'm sure they do play a large role). I'll leave this to someone who knows a little more about the server-side of things than I do.
November 18, 2012 at 4:34 pm #579RobGMemberFirst I would like to know what hosting service do you use? second, I have about ten themes installed including the Genesis frame work and never had any problems what so ever. I would ask your hosting service what's up with this because it seems this issues is with them not the software from StudioPress.

November 18, 2012 at 5:18 pm #605RobGMemberOk but from what I see you're still not getting enough disk space, 5GB is not much and sooner or later you will reach your limit... I would suggest you try finding a hosting service like Hostgator who will give you unlimited and you won't have to worrier about building your website and can enjoy the full features of StudioPress and the Genesis framework......

November 18, 2012 at 5:38 pm #613SoZoMemberThe amount of storage space offered by a host is different from the memory and 5gb should be plenty unless you are hosting a lot of large videofiles or a lot of different sites.

November 18, 2012 at 5:50 pm #618RobGMember@SoZo I see what you mean, but! if he's having trouble with Ram problems that's not a server I want to be hosting on.

I know this doesn't answer your question directly, but you have been through an optimisation checklist e.g.

Whenever one of my sites has issues, the first thing I check is the Apache error log...
I assume you are you using a caching program with that number of visitors?
“I toast, therefore I am”
November 19, 2012 at 4:54 am #656pizzicoParticipantIn this moment no. I have plugin disabled except Akismet, Genesis Simple Edits, Genesis Simple Hooks, KB Robots.txt. W3 Total Cache is disabled...
Excessive consumption of resources example errors (ftp log error):
PHP Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 41418752)
New error (o look today) [18-Nov-2012 10:27:26] PHP Warning: reset() [<a href='function.reset'>function.reset</a>]: Passed variable is not an array or object in /home/nuovecan/public_html/wp-includes/query.php on line 2971
Google error 500,508.
I can upload error log file...
November 19, 2012 at 5:38 am #660pizzicoParticipantI think i delete the site and to start from zero....
