Genesis 2 – sample – recommendations

Hello

I've a blog that's very much picture oriented - usually quite a few images as gallery with the default shortcode per post - as to the archive page, I'd like to have a cropped wide picture before the post content - the galleries either show on pages with a right sidebar or full width page.

what I was wondering whether you have any recommendations as to the thumb sizes I need to create - what pictures sizes are you using in your themes?

I was also wondering whether Genesis has some options to provide a cleaner gallery code than the default wordpress provides - I used to use a plugin called "cleaner gallery" provided by Justin from Theme Hybrid - is there something similar to do you recommend continue using the plugin.

Justin is one of the best plugin Developers so i doubt you'll have any problems with any of his plugins.
