    I just lost the ability to choose sidebars or not in the newest Genesis update. Now all the pages are forced to whatever I set for the default genesis sidebar in the main settings, and ignores the Layout Settings on the individual pages.

    Noticing this in all our Genesis designs, too. Hopefully the Studiopress team patches quickly. You can no longer set default layouts on a page by page basis. Everything goes to the default theme setting.

    I have the same problem. All my pages and posts have reverted back to the default settings which is one column. I tried forcing a page to a 2 column layout, but the changes are being ignored. I have hundred of pages using 2 column layout, but are currently reverted to 1 column. Thanks for the quick fix.

    Hi,
    if you haven't done so already, you should open tickets with Studiopress support at
    my.studiopress.com/help
    so they can keep track of things.

    Nathan Rice posted a solution on the GenesisWP Facebook group, so if you are a member there, you can check it out (I would copy & paste it here, but my firewall prevents me accessing FB from this location.)

    Otherwise, as Christoph said, go ahead and submit a support ticket to StudioPress directly.

    Thanks Christoph and Susan! I didn't know about either of those. Hopefully I can get in the FB group, or hear about a solution soon.

    From Nathan Rice: If you're having the layout issue with 2.2.4, change the following line in lib/functions/layout.php (line 343) to this

    $post_id = is_home() ? get_option( 'page_for_posts' ) : null;

    This worked for me!
