Hi, I'm testing 1.9 now and I'd like to try to set it up as a child theme so I can make edits without
touching the genesis code. Can someone tell me which files need to be copied to my child theme folder please?

When Genesis 1.9 is officially released the "Sample" child theme will be updated to 1.9.

You can roll your own by copying the functions.php file and style.css file. Change the theme name in the style.css file.

You may want to get the functions.php file from the Sample child theme.
