I'm trying to reduce / eliminate a gap between the sidebar and the content.
    GapBetweenSidebar&Content

The site uses the Sleek theme. I want to change to a newer theme, but I need to get a new post published quickly (not the post in the example, but one where space is important to make it look OK). The site has languished for several years, which is why it still uses Sleek and a number of outdated plugins. It's mainly used for republishing content from other sites - mine plus others - with little original content, so this issue wasn't top priority before.

The site is 970px wide, with the sidebar taking 310 px - just a little less than the grey background (don't understand that either but it's less critical) - and the content taking 610px + 10px padding (0 margin, 0 border). So where is the missing 50px, or how can I include it in content?

Can I fix this and still stay on Sleek for a short time?

    Thanks in advance
    Mike

This is a Themeforest theme — not Studio Press.

No, it's Sleek. It has minor modifications - the header width is the only one I'm sure of.
