I've been a cheerleader for StudioPress for many years and really loved the consistency throughout. This allowed me to get a client site up quickly with the assistance of clear and thorough direction. That was up until today when I selected a third party theme Gallery Pro. Instruction took me offsite and was patchy and left one hanging. Certain elements werent even touched on (Lightbox) and could have been a theme I picked up anywhere outside the Studio-o-sphere. Too much time has been wasted trying to figure out how certain elements work eg Portfolio/ masonary grid. As a website supplier I just dont have the time to learn a new themes idiosyncrasies.

So my request is, if you're going to include a third party theme in the studiopress theme selection cant you have the web devs supply you with exactly the same high standard of instruction as StudioPress setup pages and in the same format. Eg. a forward and back button between instructional pages would be of assistance.

Having felt like walking through treacle, I am 3 days down and having to revisit the theme selections to pick a StudioPress badged theme!!

This is feedback which can be submitted directly to StudioPress. (This forum is manned by volunteers, and rarely visited by StudioPress staff).
