Free Themes for Genesis 2.0

[CristelDesign]

Hello,
I would like to know if there is another free child theme from StudioPress, updated to Genesis 2.0, apart from the Sample Theme. I do not know how to find the free Studio press Child themes for Genesis 2.0.
Many thanks,
Cristina Castro

Hi Cristina,

Not sure if you are looking for another free theme, but I built one just recently. I also do my best to support it. You can download it on github: https://github.com/elioverbey/Engage

and demo the theme here: http://elioverbey.net/engage-theme/

I hope this helps!

Hi Christina,

There are at least 28 Genesis 2.0 free themes (29 with Eli's) I know of more but have not yet added them to the database.

Nice work Eli!

If I can suggest... include a link to the demo on your Github page and embed a link to the Github page in the demo, even if just a one-liner message in a sidebar text box. Also, is "Nominal" something you're going to publish?

I just added Monica's Nameless Pro free theme to GenesisThemesGuide.com, and I'll be adding Eli's soon, too.

Tom's not the only one who's a little behind in keeping up with the growing number of Genesis child themes out there 🙂

Can i use these themes in commercial project too ? Nice job guys 😉

[Tom]

Most themes are released under a GPL2 license, so there is typically no restriction on using them commercially. I've never heard of a restriction for a free theme, but you should always check the license. (Some authors *sell* themes licensed individually, on a per site basis.)
