    Hi,

I'd like to have more control over the slider excerpt, Is there anyway to better control where the the excerpt cuts off? I've tried adjusting the characters but there always seems to be an orphaned word. I though maybe I could pull from a specific place, or do something on the page/post itself to determine when the excerpt ends.

Also I'd love to feature posts and pages at the same time, I tried putting in post and page ids but it didn't seem to work.

Hi kenziejoy, have you tried using the "more" tag in your content? This image is from a post I did years ago about the responsive slider. It might help explain it.
