    Can I assign a single thumbnail to all posts under a tag or category? If soo, how can i achieve this.

    Hi,

    If you go to your tag/category and click edit, tou can hard code an <img> url into your your archive description area.

    The other option would be to use a plugin like this:

    http://wordpress.org/plugins/s8-simple-taxonomy-images/
