Hi everyone, this is my first website built off the genesis framework using the minimum theme.
Still needs better pictures and more content but I recently made it live. The minimum theme was fun to use and easy to modify!
Both negative and positive feedback is welcomed!
The site was built for the Little Malaysia Restaurant in Melbourne.
http://www.littlemalaysia.com.au/Excellent work! The only criticism I have is that I think the top dark part is a bit too much and you ought to put the main content in the grey area. Just my two cents.
I like it!- You might try for a couple higher rez photos for the main photo.
(FYI, you still have "TEST" as an active category in the rice bowl icon).
nice! restaurant sites are hard. kinda uninteresting but you filled a lot of otherwise empty space well.
i love this plugin--not sure if you're using one for your menu or not but this has a lot of great options and simple to use:

how about adding a call to action using:
I like it! I think it is simple and to the point. Also like the big vibrant food pic on the front page. Also, I assume those numbers on the menu are the prices?
Nice job. I think your main front photo needs a little something more -- some kind of border, perhaps? I also think the front photo didn't really grab me. Maybe, as others have suggested, a higher resolution image for the front page might help.
Best,
Amelia
Thank you all for the suggestions! I have placed everyone of them on my Next up date TO-DO list.
I am using the easy restaurant menu manager for the menu plugin, it's extremely easy to use and even better once you've worked out how to add things through mysql.
I know the front photo needs to be replaced with something higher resolution, it's only a place holder for now but this seems to be the thing that people notice most, I'm thinking about changing it to a slide show or even just some that looks tasty.
Thank you all once again for your constructive feedback! Much Appreciated!
I wished to see meals photos.
looks good!
