I'm using the Featured Widget Amplified with a page, as I have many times before. This time, however, the "Link Text:" field is missing. The section is there, but is small, and I see no way to make it larger.

I've copied the setting from another site that is showing this field. Same version.

    http://clone.bennettbuildingsnc.net/ is the site.

    What am I missing?!

    Thanks!

If you are using the excerpt it will not have a more link.

Then I must have modified code (by accident, I assure you) that made it possible here: http://clone.generalcontractorsnc.com/

Or am I still missing something? Here's a screen shot of the two widgets side by side:

It is possible to add the more link, it is easier to just use the content limit unless you are going to be using the manual excerpt which is a totally different beast though.

I'm using the manual excerpt on both instances. I just am trying to figure out how one widget installation lets me do it, and the other one doesn't. Can you see something different I've done?
