    Business Pro Theme.
Currently have 5 Front Page Widget panels and one of them is a Featured Post widget/panel led with a Custom HTML as a title.

Would like to have the last three posts displayed in that panel side-by-side (utilizing a third of the page each). Using "none", as it currently is, "stacks" the three one on top of the other (see the "The Latest from Itasca Retail" panel). It doesn't seem that any of fractional settings in any of the set-up areas work, and actually shrink the visibility instead of what's might be expected by the displayed fractions.

You can use CSS Grid to display featured posts in columns.
