Featured Page Widget not showing blog page?

Hey, everyone! I'm currently building a new website and I'm having an issue with the Featured Page Widget that I haven't encountered before. I've been scouring the web trying to find the solution with no luck.

Unfortunately, the widget is showing me every page that's published on my site except my blog page. Of course, that's the one I really want linked on my homepage! Any idea why this might be happening? And how can I get the widget to show the blog page as an option?

Not sure what could be causing this. I've had some weird issues with the blog page to begin with. For example, if I set my homepage (in WordPress and with my child theme) to show the most recent blog posts on the homepage, the blog page itself doesn't function as it's supposed to. It's just a blank page. So, I've had to set my homepage to be a static page just to resolve that, which isn't ideal for me.

Keeping my fingers crossed someone has the answer! 🙂

Hi @hellorockview we'd all love to help you but 1) you didn't provide a URL, 2) you didn't provide your code that you're using and 3) you didn't specify what theme you're using. So we'd kinda be fumbling in the dark on this.
