Featured images of posts in grid image size – eleven40 Pro

I would like to have the featured images of the posts in grid on my homepage (2nd to 5th post) to be full width of the grid box.

I've managed to center them, but there's too much blank space on left and right now (on desktop).

I'm using Eleven40 Pro and my site's url is http://travelphotoblography.com/

Hi Marko,
You can specify a different size for the grid images as follows:

1. In functions.php find the following code and edit the value for your desired image size. Here I've chosen 388x160px:

//* Add new featured image size
add_image_size( 'grid-featured', 388, 160, TRUE );

2. Confirm that "grid-featured" is selected in Genesis > Theme Settings > Content Archives > Featured Image >Image Size.

3. (Re)generate the images to size using a plugin like Force Regenerate Thumbnails.

4. Reload the front page to view the results.
