Hi, my featured images on trustedcyberpartners.com seem to be having their metadata stripped out. Is there a way to use featured images for the hero section and footer that will show metadata?
http://www.trustedcyberpartners.comIt is common for featured images to be stripped of metadata, as many platforms and content management systems (CMS) automatically compress images to optimize website performance. This compression process can remove metadata such as EXIF data, which includes information about the camera used to take the photo, the date and time it was taken, and other details.
If preserving metadata is important to you, there are a few things you can do:
Use a plugin: There are many WordPress plugins available that can help you preserve image metadata when uploading images to your website.
Manually add metadata: If you want to ensure that your images have metadata, you can manually add it using a tool such as Adobe Lightroom or Photoshop.
Use uncompressed images: If you want to preserve all the metadata of an image, you can use an uncompressed image format such as TIFF. However, keep in mind that these files will be much larger than compressed formats such as JPEG, which can slow down website performance. For more details click here
