I'm putting a few colored boxes with text on my agency theme using Brian Gardner's tutorial...

    <div class="content-box-blue">text</div>

It looks fine except for extra spacing below the last part of the text and the box. So I viewed page source with firefox and it shows an extra </div>...

    <div class="content-box-white">text</div></div>

I'm assuming it's being added by wordpress, so I'm just wondering if there is anyway to remove the extra </div> tag and where I would go to remove it.  This has been driving me absolutely crazy!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Try removing it from the text editor.

The extra tag isn't showing in the text editor.  I use the text editor to write my content.

In my text editor I only show one </div> tag.  It's obvious when viewing the page there is extra space. So while viewing the page I check the view page source by right clicking using my firefox browser. It shows an extra </div></div>, but that's not what shows up in my text editor.

I just can't figure where that extra </div> tag is coming from and how to get rid of it?

    Thanks.
