    1. I'm using Genesis Executive-Pro theme
    2. Whenever I try to login to my wordpress via admin user, I get the white screen. As such, I'm not able to view my wordpress dashboard
    3. I can still view my website thru browsers though
    4. Did troubleshooting via c-panel
    5. From File Manager, I disabled all my plugins but to no avail - screen still blank white
    6. Decided to switch theme via c-panel > phpMyadmin
    7. Changed template (genesis) and stylesheet (executive-pro) to wordpress defauft theme "twentythirteen"
    8. Refreshed wordpress admin login and white screen retified. I was able to access my wordpress dashboard.
    9. I truly hope there is a solution for me to keep my genesis theme and rectify the white screen.

Download the latest version of Genesis and upload it to your themes folder overwriting the old version.

Are you running the latest version of WordPress? If not, update WordPress first.

    Wordpress is up to date.

Since I'm not able to view Genesis theme, I can't confirm if it's updated as well.
I may need help on how to download the latest version of genesis. I'll look into it tomorrow.

    Thank you

Just log into your my.studiopress.com account and download the framework, then FTP it into your WordPress themes folder.

    To all,

Thanks. I managed to overwrite the old version and all's good now.

Had the same issue with a website. Overwriting with the latest version of the framework fixed it.

I think you should turn on debug in wp-config file or php.ini file to display the error and learn how to fix it

Hi Brad -- when you ftp the Genesis theme, do you unpack it first, or upload the .zip archive just as it is? I'm getting this error:
Catchable fatal error: Argument 1 passed to Genesis_Admin_CPT_Archive_Settings::__construct() must be an instance of stdClass, instance of WP_Post_Type given, called in /home/chefjame/public_html/wp-content/themes/genesis/lib/admin/menu.php on line 122 and defined in /home/chefjame/public_html/wp-content/themes/genesis/lib/admin/cpt-archive-settings.php on line 38

when I try to log into the dashboard using the admin in the browser.

I am on auto update for WP... and this happened AFTER the host did the auto update to 4.6.1

    thanks
    Grace

I had the same issue with the same theme. Using FTP to reinstall the child theme didn't work but installing the latest version of the genesis framework theme did resolve the problem.
