MemberHi, there!
I'm using the Genesis Responsive Slider on the Executive Theme.
The slider will not stop resizing to each image featured on the slider. It gets tall, then short, and all the while, will move up and down the content that follows it. I'm not sure what needs to be added to the CSS or PHP, but I'd simply like for the slider to keep its shape and size when using the desktop version of the site. Please assist?

MemberWithout having a link to your site to see what's actually happening, my guess is that your images are not sized the same.

MemberHi, Robin - thanks for the quick reply!
Please see this link here: http://deafhhcenter.org/
Do all the images need to be the same size each time there is one uploaded to the Featured Image in a Post? Thanks!

MemberYou can refer to the Executive Theme instructions for setting up the slider here
The image size settings have to be made first in the Genesis Slider settings.
Yes, when you upload your images to the featured image area of your post, the image should be the same size that you specified in the Genesis Slider settings.
The size of the image you place in the body of your post doesn't matter.
Hope that helps a bit.

MemberThanks, I did go by the Executive Theme instructions. I was hoping the image didn't have to be set to the slider pixel size first, but, alas, that appears to be the only option. A bit inconvenient, but that should be fine. Thanks, again!

Member@ms.receptionitis, that behavior apears to be a quirk with the Genesis Responsive Slider, if that helps.
I had a site with the regular Genesis Slider, and it would automatically select the slider size image, but the Repsonsive Slider will choose the uploaded image size if it's not at the slider dimensions you've set for it.
Rather annoying until I figured it out, causing my content to bounce up and down like that 🙂 The problem with one of my sites was that some of the contributors had become accustomed to uploading images larger than needed and having the other slider pick the right size, which the Responsive Slider won't do.
But if it's because of needing to be responsive and selecting the different sizes it needs based on devices viewing the site, it makes sense. Still annoying when one of my contributors forgets, though 🙂
