    Hey,

I just bought the Executive Pro Theme and installed it successfully. Now I have a question regarding the featured image.

    What size should it have?
Where will it be displaye, above the post title or below the page title?
How could I possibly change the position (location) of the featured image acccording to my preferences?

Third question regarding front page - how can I just use a single image at the front page instead of a slider?

    Thank a lot
    Mathias

Regarding featured images for Posts and Pages, where do you want to display them?

Third question regarding front page – how can I just use a single image at the front page instead of a slider?

Just drag a text widget in the "Home - Slider" widget area and insert the HTML needed to display your desired image like this:

    <img src="http://placehold.it/1140x445" />

    Hi Sridhar,
thank you very much for your quick response.
I would like to position the featured image just below the page title, it should have width of the content area.

I will install the photo on the front page according to you instructions.

Can I use for the home top widget also normal text widgets instead of Geneses featured page widget. I have to have more flexibility according to what I will put in the widget - title, text, pics. etc.

    Have a good day.
    Thanks
    Mathias

The timing of your post is perfect. I'm working on a new site installation using executive pro and have been struggling with the featured image as well. Sridhar, if you happen to write up a tutorial on this could you include the optional modification to display the featured image above the title as well? In my situation I'd love for the featured image to appear above the post title on blog pages and also above page titles on individual pages. I can post a new question in the forum if that would be best. I just figured what I'm looking for is so very similar to Mathias' timely request. 🙂

    Thank you so much Sridhar,

it is so kind to make a tutorial right away. I will follow your instructions. I think I will position the image above the page title. it looks better.

    Great work

    Hi Sridhar,

I have a question regarding the big front page photo. I uploaded a photo and this photo I created in my photo editing a slogan and 2 call to action button, as you can see here:

    Hair Transplant in Turkey

I would like to do this with HTML/CSS in order to have a hoover-over effect for the buttons, like in this example.
    http://www.bloofusion.de/
I mean the text (slogan) and buttons should not be a .jpg file but should be created with code? Can you tell me how to do that?

    Thanks
    Mathias
