    Hi,

I have a category that I would like to NOT SHOW in the homepage/blog.

This category is called "Awesome Stuff" and currently I  have 1 posting on it.

What can I do so that posting will not show up in the homepage/blog, but only under Awesome Stuff Category?

    Here is my site: http://www.startupslove.com/

    Please let me know 🙂

    Thank You

Here's some code and a link to a post about different ways to exclude categories and posts in a category from your home and blog page.

Code not displaying? Grab it on Github.

I realized I dont need to exclude this particular category from the entire homepage, but only from the Content Part/Frame of the homepage. In other words, I still want to display the title of this category in the sidebar (as a featured article to read).

Hope that what I am trying to achieve makes sense to you.

Also, this code editing should be done in the index.php, correct?

    Please let me know.

    Thanks!

No. All custom PHP is done in the child themes functions.php file.

You'll find the solution in the article however you will need to use your own post/page i.d's
