Hi, since updating, excerpts are appearing in my post banner section on all the single pages, which is redundant. How best would I disable excerpts in the banner? thanks!

Fixing it page by page. Excerpt text is in the page editor excerpt section, but not visible inside the box, not even when highlighted/selected - but there is something there that can be selected (which is odd) and when I select and delete that highlighted area of space, the banner excerpt is removed.
