This may seem like a silly question, but I want to confirm it before I purchase. Is the navigation in the demo area that allows you to set colors, layouts etc, the menu used in the this theme when live? For instance, will my normal WordPress created menu show up at the top of the page, and follow when scrolling? I'd love a static menu that moves with the page, and if this is how that child theme works, it's a great starting point. I see no other navigation, so I assume it must be, but I figured I'd check before buying!

Yes, any menu you create in appearance>menus can be placed in your header.
