    Hi. I have a question regarding the Hero header background image on Essence Pro.

    When the page is loaded, the background image is loaded as full size, then resized to the appropriate size. Is there any way to prevent this and load it immediately at the right size?

    You could crop the image or use caching like min for CSS. Looks like it's using CSS.
