It seems when you update to wordpress 3.5.2 from a clean install you get the error message you quoted. Seems like there are compatibility issues with either genesis or the child theme.

    Genesis: v.1.9.2
    Enterprise: v.1.1

I did a clean install without the wordpress upgrade to 3.5.2 and everything went smooth. There is obviously a compatibility issue that needs to be looked at.
