    Hello, I am trying to set up a blog for the first time using Genesis framework and the Genesis Sample theme.
    I created 2 pages but wanted to change the permalinks, to show the name of the page.

    But when I select "Post name" and go to save my changes. I get the error:

    Not Acceptable

    An appropriate representation of the requested resource /wp-admin/options-permalink.php could not be found on this server.
    Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    It has not created the .htaccess file but I don't know how to fix this.

    All help is welcome, Thank you (WP-beginner)

    Re-save your permalinks and see what happens otherwise i would ask your host.

    I re-saved them and the same error came up. Contacted host, they had issues of their own.
    Decided to change hosts (really bad problems with them). New host and everything works fine.
