I have a bit of a problem using the Enterprise Child theme on my companies website. By default, the theme calls for "latest posts" as the default home page. I configured all other pages, and built up the site. When I went to create a new page, specifically for blogs, I run into a problem.
Whenever I go to reading tab settings, and I set it to be "static front page" --- I don't have a static page to select as my main home page. However, If I leave that blank, and I just set the blog page for "blog", and save it, it works.
Except that the blog page mimics that of the home page.
I need guidance as to how to get the main page settings copied over properly to another static page (when I do it, I can't get the coding to set the page up properly like it is by default). Either that, or guidance as to why when I leave it blank and create a blog page, it mimics the home page.
The website is:http://interlinkcompsol.com/Interlink/
Try creating a genuine page to be the static front page.
Let me know if that helps.
I set the static page to "about" just for testing. Makes no change, except that "home" becomes the "about" page, and blog still stays and looks like the original home theme.
