    Hello StudioPress Community,

Would appreciate some constructive feedback/criticism on cbihsa.com. Don't hold back, I can take it.

    Thanks!

    Hi,
It has a pleasing, clean look, nice job! I really like that theme.

My only other comments would be about the graphics. That's a nice background photo, but I can't really "see" much of it when looking at a page (maybe it looks better on a giant monitor?). Also, just like one of my clients, the images do look a bit "stock-ish". Not a big deal by any means, but something to consider. I'd guess that your client may not have had any photos, so they do the job well enough.

    Good stuff,
    Dave

Thank you David, I appreciate your feedback. Yeah, I've changed the background image multiple times now. The current image has the right colors (blue and orange)...do you think the out-of-focus is a distraction?

The stock photos will stay for now, it had to go live, may address it later.

    Thanks again,

    Brian

    Brian,
Actually, out-of-focus is probably OK... it seems to give a soft effect with, as you said, good and peaceful colors. So maybe it's just fine. I'm just splitting hairs since you asked. 🙂

Here's a random thing that I will sometimes do - dump the Genesis favicon and make a custom one. Entirely optional, but sometimes I'll throw that in and the client views it as a pleasant surprise. You just replace that file in your theme, and don't worry if it doesn't show up right away, those babies take forever to show up in some browsers.

In any case, your site is very professional-looking, well suited for the business.

    Cheers, Dave

Agreed, I need to add a custom favicon.

    Thanks David.
