    Hi all

    Got a little issue with this them.

    A near stock standard install of this theme with minimal changes, the Home page displays the text on the title area as it should.

    -
    Standard Title Text

    -

    Then when I create a page of post, this title text goes to a completely different font, and I don't want it to.

    -
    Title Text after new page or post creation

    -
    Any ideas what may cause this and how I can fix it?

    Thank you.

    Ian,

    This is the kind of thing that official support can definitely help you with. But I had similar issues (though not with the font change). Either way, could you provide a link to your site?

    Also, you'll probably need to adjust settings in your style.css file. Play with the width of .site-header .widget-area.

    Cheers,

    Ken

    Disabling the Yoast SEO plugin fixed this issue. So there is definitely an incompatibility with this plugin and the theme.

    Thank you for the reply too Ken. 🙂

    Ian,

    I just noticed that my site has the same problem. Funny that I didn't notice the font change until you mentioned it. But deactivating WordPress SEO (which is the Yoast plugin) did not fix the font issue on my site. You're certain that is what did it? You didn't edit any styles? I was able to to change the font by adding:

    font-family: 'Open Sans',sans-serif;

    to .site-title

    Cheers,

    Ken

    Actually, I think it is supposed to be: font-family: 'Oswald',sans-serif; instead of ‘Open Sans’,sans-serif;

    You are right about the font family

    It was enabling and disabling Yoast that made it work for me. But I really wanted to use Yoast so the workaround is below, care of SP support. (Thanks Jennifer).

    I had to add this to the CSS rule in the style.css file:

    .site-title {
    font-family: 'Oswald', sans-serif;
    font-size: 24px;
    font-size: 2.4rem;
    letter-spacing: 2px;
    letter-spacing: 0.2rem;
    line-height: 1;
    margin: 0;
    padding: 20px 0;
    padding: 2.0rem 0;
    text-transform: uppercase;
    }
