    When testing the education theme with the header logo uploaded as recommended, it does not scale with the rest of the theme and runs off the page. Any recommendations?

    You can add "background-size: contain;" to the #header rule but that doesn't always work very well. The best thing to do is add different #header backgrounds for each of the responsive sections.

    Interesting! Would you be able to elaborate a bit more on that if you don't mind?

    How to add different #header backgrounds for each of the responsive sections.

    Add rules with #header as the selector and then include a background property with !important after the value, e.g.

    #header { background: url(images/YOUR_IMAGE.png) !important; }

    You can learn about CSS syntax here and the background property here.

    Am I still restricted to using a 1140 ?— 120 pixel image?

    No. You can make any style changes you want. That restriction is only due to the custom header function, which you will be overriding.

    Try the Genesis Responsive Header plugin. I'm still having a bit of trouble with the 1024 width, but give the plugin a try. It simplifies the multiple size header files without having to touch the code.

    Thank you, Tracy! I did a search for that but did not find anything by that name specifically. Do you have a link by chance?

    Are you referring to the fact that when you shrink the browser the uploaded header image goes off the screen to the left?  I'm having the same issue.

    Did anyone get a fix for this?  It won't work for me despite uploading Genesis Responsive Header.
