    Looking to see if the Education theme has been updated to HTML 5 yet? If not... how big of a deal is it that it has not?

    I haven't received a concrete understanding of the benefits of the theme upgrades, can someone please explain?

    It has not been updated yet. When and if it does, it will be a PRO version like all the others. The themes are upgraded to HTML5 and will be slightly different from what you currently have. It's not like you will be able to just install the upgraded version. You will lose all of your theme customizations if you activate it so you will need to review the PRO version before you use it.
