    This one is driving me crazy… and I know it's probably really easy.
    How do I get the featured image to show up in the actual post itself (at the top of the post).

    In the functions.php this is the only code for images:

    //* Add new image sizes
    add_image_size( 'slider', 1600, 800, TRUE );
    add_image_size( 'sidebar', 280, 150, TRUE );

    Worked perfectly!!!
    Needed a couple tweaks to get the size right, although for anyone else with this question, if you just wanted the image to fit into the post, use "full".
