    Hi there,

I was trying to change the footer on my website following the guidelines at http://my.studiopress.com/snippets/footer/ and I think I included the opening PHP tag (<?php) and now the site won't load and the admin side will not load. It just produces a blank page. How do I go about fixing this without having to do a clean install on my hosting service?

Are you comfortable with using a FTP client (i.e. Filezilla)? You will need to download your functions.php file to fix the syntax error and then reupload it to the server.

Yes I believe I am comfortable doing that.

    Thank you.
