edit footer text

I hired a designer to help move my site over to genesis, and they put their credit in the footer. I wasn't super happy with them, so I'd rather not advertise their services. The challenge is that I can't figure out where they included it. The "Website designed" text is not with the rest of the footer text.

I think I've searched the text of every file in my themes folder without success. I've tried all of the footer fields I can find.

It may be a custom function.

Offline, using Notepad++ (or similar), open up your childtheme's functions.php and look for [find] genesis_footer_creds_text

Your Child Theme is titled: Genesis Child 01

Use FTP to download functions.php from Genesis Child 01

Weirdly, my child theme doesn't have a functions.php

All it has is footer.php, header.php, rtl.css, and style.css

Is it possible that this has been moved out of the child theme folder. This child theme was created with orbisius child theme creator.
