    I have another site that I am replacing with my new studiopress site. In the other one, the theme or wordpress setup gives me the ability to edit all the theme files inside wordpress. I don't see that option in my new studiopress/genesis site using the News Pro theme. Is there somewhere I am not finding or do I have to FTP to my files in order to edit CSS, PHP and others? If I can't do this inside wordpress, do you know of a plugin that will give me the ability to do this. It is real handy to have it right there instead of going thru FTP to do it.

    What files in particular are you looking for? Genesis is a Framework so the Framework files shouldn't be editied. Any files related to your theme such as the functions.php, home.php, front-page.php, style.css or other related files should be accessible.

    Then what I listed should be there under Appearance > Editor. What type of customization are you looking to make using your theme files?

    Thats where I thought it should be but its not there.
    I want to be able to change locations, sizes, what files to look for, colors and so on. I probably won't change all that, but I want the option if I need. I am used to the Editor option being there but its not in this theme. How do I get it there?

    Oh, I remember now. Synthesis doesn't provide you with the Editor to edit your files. Contact them. Or you will have to use FTP.

    Thanks, I will contact them and see what I can do. I am sure there is a plugin out there for it. I hope.
