    I need to display the post tags of a custom post type in my custom post type template in the place I've noted in the paste above.

    SO. CLOSE. BUT. DON'T. SEE. IT.

    I figured out all of the other pulling-of-custom-fields I need to do, but I don't see how to get this one!

    Hmmm..... in the bare template. How about something like this? 

    $blah = do_shortcode('[post_terms before="See Articles Related To " taxonomy="totd_tags"]');
echo $blah;
