    Hello,

I am interested in potentially buying the News Pro theme. However, I would like to have home page template be used for multiple pages (i.e. the home page, and then 3 categories).

Is there a way to do this?

Please let me know if you need more information, as this may not be clear. 🙂

    Thanks so much in advance!!

    Austin

    Hey Austin,

The News Pro theme has a widgetized home page. That means to duplicate it you'd need to make some functions.php and style.css changes. It is possible to use it for multiple pages, though (but not necessarily a good idea for those pages to be the actual category templates).

    Best,
    Lauren

I'm trying to do the same thing as the OP. Is there a tutorial anywhere that shows what needs to be done to use the widgetized home page template for other pages? If not, can you share what the basic steps are for doing this? I'm just not sure how to get started, e.g. do I need to make a copy of the front-page.php file and replace all the instances of "home" in it to the thing I want to make the page about? Will that add a whole bunch of new widgets to my widgets screen for each page?

    I'm using Lifestyle Pro.

    Thanks!
