I have a number of sites that have drop-downs. The category button has the URL "#" so it is not clickable. The drop downs appear on the Windows and Android tablets - but you can not swipe down to click the button. The moment you leave the category button the drop down disappears. I have read many posts on this and wonder what the current status is? I saw somewhere that Genesis was working on a fix for 2.0, - but we're at 2.0.2 and I don't see anything. I searched the web and apparently Joomla has a button to toggle a sticky function (?) to keep the drop down live until you click it ???

I have too many older sites that really depend on drop-downs. I can design the new ones differently - but don't want spinners, side nav, even the new mobile scalable designs don't serve my clients creative needs. Tablet and PC can be the same if just the drop down works. Phones are another story - there are many great plugins for that.

So - any word on a Genesis fix? Any plug-ins that make the drop downs sticky? I tried "black-studio-touch-dropdown-menu.0.2" but it didn't work on Surface and hasn't been updated past WP 3.4.

    Thanks, Mark

Hello, I have not resolved the situation. In the interim I have been designing menus without drop downs. I had read on other boards and I believe somewhere within studiopress that a script holds down the parent button for a defined period of time giving you time to touch the child button. I imagine this would be a universal fix for all themes with code resident in Genesis.
