    Hello all,

I recently took over management of a website built using Genesis and the Outreach Pro child theme. The site owner recently bought an SSL cert though her host. The problem is the browser is flagging the site as insecure. I've gone through the basics - non-secure links and resources - and haven't been able to identify a problem. However, the previous web editor installed a plug in to prevent theme updates. I'm assuming because they altered the parent theme files. So the site is running on Genesis version 2.5.3. I am wondering if this old version could be triggering the browser as being a security issue? Anyone out there know anything about this? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Where do you see the insecure message. I went to the site and it's secure at least on the home page. A specific page or post would be helpful.

    Hello Anita,

Thanks for your response! I've since been able to resolve the issue. It didn't have anything to do with the Genesis them after all.
