    Apologies in advance if I sound a bit immature, but does the header on my blog look too girly?

    I like it because its fun and not to serious. Who designed it?

    I'd probably remove the padding so its flush with the top of your site

    I don't think so. The colors are part of the pallet for the theme so it meshes well.

    Not too girly! It looks kind of gender neutral - there are elements there which will appeal to both genders.

    Not girly - FUN. I agree with Susan - gender neutral.
