Is it possible for the header image to not be a background image? If so, how is that done?

Please provide more information about the theme you are using, a link to your site, and what you want to accomplish. Logos are often in the title area of the header and can be displayed as text or an image.

Hi kdrewien. I own all of the child themes and understand where and how the logo are displayed. My preference for SEO is to not have logos in headers as background images. I'm beginning a new project with Centric and would like to do this with all websites going forward. Thanks, Gary

When you navigate to Genesis settings do you see an option to display the title as text or image? Or, in Appearance > Header scroll down to 'display text' and check the box. Either option will pull the title from Settings > General into the header.

Yes, I understand; however, the photo is set as a background image which lacks SEO value and along with a few other negatives. My question is how to set the header photo as a foreground, standard image.

I've used this method. See if it helps you:

Thank you Mark! Looks simple enough. I'll finish with an education in SP's responsive CSS.
